深入开展创先争优活动是进一步加强基层党组织和党员队伍建设的有效载体和动力源泉,是提升基层党建水平的重要途径。当前高校学生党建工作存在的问题有三个:一、高校党建工作中党员发展的数量与质量不和谐二、党员再教育工作不够。三、扎实新时期高校大学生党建工作力度不够。在创先争优中创新基层党建工作是推动科学发展、促进社会和谐的重大举措,也是加强党组织和党员队伍建设的有效抓手。通过充分发挥高校辅导员的重要作用,创先争优的要求落实到基层党组织建设,对高等学校的改革发展以及培养社会主义建设事业接班人有着重要的意义。
