In order to improve the editorial staff’s business level, the Ministry of Metallurgy and the Hunan Provincial Association for Science and Technology jointly organized a training course for the editing of scientific and technological journals in Changsha from November 18, 1983 to December 12. Attending this training course were 87 comrades from 79 editorial departments from the national metallurgical system (of which Hunan Province had 23 editorial departments and 24 comrades).
