作为国际上首个跨境合作项目,中哈霍尔果斯国际边境合作中心备受瞩目。根据新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府的计划,中哈霍尔果斯国际边境合作中心将在今年10月正式封关运行。乌鲁木齐海关副关长克依纳木·依马来提夏表示,合作中心的运营将使新疆与周边国家的经贸关系更加密切,新疆作为中国通向亚洲的桥头堡作用更加突出。
As the first cross-border cooperation project in the world, the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center has drawn much attention. According to the plan of the People’s Government of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, the Sino-Kazakh Horgos International Border Cooperation Center will be formally closed for operation in October this year. According to Kenemu Imamiti, Deputy Commissioner of Urumqi Customs, the operation of the cooperative center will bring the economic and trade relations between Xinjiang and its neighboring countries closer together, and Xinjiang will play a more prominent role as a bridgehead to China.
