全国实行区域卫生规划,社区医疗需担负初级卫生保健业务,对社区人员提供基本医疗、预防、保健、康复、健康教育和计划生育技术指导等卫生眼务。社民医疗面向社区居民,是医疗基层单位,不可能象大医院那样分科很详细,在许多情况,医生值班要一个人面对各科疾病、各种年龄段的病人。还有上门出诊,担负企业会议保健等工作,这都很需要既精通各科疾病的医疗诊治知识,又掌握护理操作技术的医护合一、不分专科的通科医生来完成。
