从20世纪初开始,随着西方社会进入现代时期,出现了与古典艺术和近代艺术不同面貌的当代艺术,它的突出特征是在艺术形式上不再以写实的风格为主,而是体现艺术家个性的观念和形式语言,并且形成了许多艺术流派,一个时期以某种艺术流派为主导。当然,无论何种艺术形式,其所反映和表现的都是当代社会变化给人们带来的社会心理特征,都是艺术家对艺术表现形式的探索。随着艺术的发展,“当代艺术”这一术语也一直在不停地被人们所提起和讨论,本专题将从艺术与文化、艺术与哲学等角度来探讨当代艺术的定义与范畴。
From the beginning of the 20th century, as Western society entered the modern age, contemporary art with different appearances from those of classical art and modern art appeared. Its salient feature was that the art form was no longer dominated by realistic style but embodied the artist Personality concept and formal language, and formed many art schools, a period dominated by a certain art genre. Of course, no matter what kind of art form, what it reflects and expresses is the social and psychological characteristics brought about by the social changes of the present age, all of which are the artists’ exploration of the art forms. This theme will explore the definition and category of contemporary art from the aspects of art, culture, art and philosophy.
