At first glance, NGO Women’s Forum and black and white football are totally different from each other. However, chances coincide, so I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful combination of the two. As a volunteer, I attended the Forum’s on-site service, and because I was studying at the Spanish Department of Beijing Foreign Studies University, I could relatively easily communicate with the representatives of Spain and many Latin American countries and listen to their opinions. So in the hustle and bustle of the Latin American tent, we often come for a period of “chat polka”, laughing, the topic unwittingly turned to football.
