1972年横川等找到一种能积极对抗变形链球菌的细菌溶解酶一变链溶素(Mutanolysin)。此酶由球形孢子链丝菌菌株1829制成,它能降解变形链球菌细胞壁的肽糖(peptidoglycan)。曾有学者报导田鼠随意服入变链溶素,可以显著地抑制由变链菌AHT和K1R菌株引起的龋,这提示可用变链溶素预防人类龋齿。已知人类口腔内变链菌株有几种血清型,并且每种血清型的致龋能力和流行情况不尽相同,因此,作者测检了变形链球菌对变链溶素的敏感性。作者从球形孢子链丝菌1829菌株培养的上清液制出部分提纯的变链溶素,其特效活性为每微克蛋白有2溶解单位(2.0单位/微克蛋白)。
In 1972, Yokomichi and others found a bacterium lysozyme, mutanolysin, that can aggressively fight Streptococcus mutans. This enzyme is made of Streptosporium sp. Strain 1829, which degrades the peptidoglycan of the Streptococcus mutans cell wall. Some scholars have reported voles random access variable chain lysin, can significantly inhibit Streptococcus mutans AHT and K1R strains caused by caries, suggesting that varicella can be used to prevent human dental caries. It has been known that there are several serotypes of human oral streptococcal strains, and the cariogenic ability and prevalence of each serotype are not the same. Therefore, the authors tested the susceptibility of Streptococcus mutans to variable lysins. The authors prepared partially purified variable chain lysins from supernatants of Streptomyces sp. Strain 1829 with an estimated activity of 2 units of lysate (2.0 units / microgram of protein) per microgram of protein.
