近年来,山西省长治市物资系统,顺应发展社会主义市场经济新形势,转变观念,把握机遇,深化改革,奋力拼搏,实行发展战略的大转移,走向市场,物资工作迈上～个新台阶。今年上半年,全系统完成物资销售51569万元,实现利润632.6万元,分别比去年同期增长88.5％和84.3％。其中,市直物资企业完成物资销售37710万元,实现利润474.6万元,分别比去年同期增长111.7％和104.7％,半年效益翻番。襄垣县物资局一年任务半年完;市物资再生利用集团公司半年实现利润突破100万元大关,比去年同期增长264％,经济效益增长幅度居全省同行业之首,全市物资工作走上了超常规跳跃式发展之路。
