电影音乐以电影主题的辅助表达方式出现以来,经历了一个被广大受众逐渐接受的过程。诸多优秀电影由于择取电影音乐不当,或者对背景音乐与电影的搭配未能予以足够的重视,从而使得电影彰显出的艺术魅力大大降低。从某种程度去讲,电影音乐充当电影搭配艺术的角色还比较年轻,但音乐一经步入电影艺术领域之中,就表现出了其所独有的艺术意义与音乐价值,特别是在情节与效果方面的表现上,更是凸显出了电影音乐的功能。本文就是以论述《海上钢琴师》这部电影作品中的音乐魅力为主题,在第一部分解析了《海上钢琴师》的创作背景,在第二部分探讨了《海上钢琴师》中音节结构和编排的特征,在第三部分提出了《海上钢琴师》中音乐运用的作用。
