透镜耦合器的耦合系数对横向错位十分敏感,因而容易受震动等环境条件的影响。介绍了一种把CO2激光器的10.6μm辐射耦合到Ge-Ag-Ni空心波导的锥形耦合器,以及该耦合器的设计和制作,并对两种耦合器的耦合系数进行了对比分析。结果表明,在抗震和长期稳定性方面,锥形耦合器的性能优于透镜耦合器
The coupling coefficient of the lens coupler is very sensitive to the lateral misalignment and thus easily affected by environmental conditions such as vibration. A tapered coupler coupling the 10.6μm CO2 laser to the Ge-Ag-Ni hollow waveguide is introduced. The design and fabrication of the coupler are also introduced. The coupling coefficients between the two couplers are also analyzed. The results show that the tapered coupler performs better than the lens coupler in terms of seismic and long-term stability
