在一次教学改革座谈会上,有人提出,高等院校数学专业的几何课程削减太厉害:解放前后的数学系,一年级有三学时(一学年每周上课时数)的立体解析几何课,二年级有四学时的高等几何课,三年级有三学时的微分几何课,四年级又仿照苏联的数学专业开设了三学时的几何基础课,此外尚有适量的几何选修课。而现在呢?除一年级一学期每周四学时的空间解析几何课和三年级一学期每周三学时的微分几何课外,就再没什么几何课了。诚然,从近代数学发展趋势来衡量,旧教学计划中几何课的学时和内容是
At a seminar on teaching reform, it was suggested that the mathematics courses in the mathematics majors of universities and colleges were curtailed too much: the mathematics department before and after liberation, the three-year class (one-year class hour per week) in the first grade, and the second grade analytic geometry class. There are four hours of advanced mathematics, three years of differential mathematics with three hours, and four years of mathematics, based on Soviet mathematics, and a three-hour basic geometry course.
