中国药学会总会为热烈庆祝偉大的十月社会主义革命四十周年,除征集紀念文章在药学通报、中药通报等刊物上刊載外,並于11月3日和中华医学会、中华护士学会联合举行会議,約請在衛生部工作的苏联專家以及首都医药衛生界人士参加,庆祝十月革命节。会上由总会名誉理事長傅連瞕同志作报告,到会的苏联專家及我国專家們都發了言,情緒十分热烈。此外,总会还指示各地分会在十月革命节前后,举办一系列講演会、座談会等,以介紹苏联药学偉大成就,交流学习
