对于精密跟踪雷达,无论是电轴的方位角座标还是俯仰角座标都必须准确标定。但是直接和用电轴进行座标的标定是很不方便的,因此通常和用装在天线上的望远镜的光轴代表电轴来标定。这样不仅要求光轴与电轴尽量一致,另外光轴还必须和俯仰轴相垂直。否则在高仰角跟踪时将会造成较大的方位角误差。所以对于精密跟踪雷达来说,光轴的装订工作是一项非常重要及要求非常细致的工作。
For precision tracking radar, both the azimuth and elevation coordinates of the electric axis must be accurately calibrated. However, it is inconvenient to calibrate the coordinates directly and electrically, and therefore it is usually calibrated with the optical axis of the telescope mounted on the antenna. This requires not only the optical axis and the electric axis as much as possible, the other optical axis must also be perpendicular to the pitch axis. Otherwise at high elevation angle tracking will result in a larger azimuth error. So for the precision tracking radar, the binding of the optical axis is a very important and demanding work.
