Liu Chao, in his early thirties, was a professional sergeant at the propaganda office of a group army in the Chengdu Military Region. It was him who set a precedent for our soldiers to hold personal calligraphy exhibitions at the Chinese Revolutionary Military Museum. His works have won more than 50 domestic and international calligraphy competitions for many times and are collected by 45 Chinese and foreign museums. His achievements have been disseminated by China Radio International to more than 180 countries and regions in 39 languages. less
