“The north of the monsoon, the south of Choi Wan: the formation of Yunnan” is a creative work on the history of the border areas. The author examines the Yunnan region from the perspective of world history and conducts a long period of research on the historical process that has been a relatively independent region since the Qin and Han dynasties and finally became part of the Chinese imperialism. Author Yang Bin teacher from well-known world history Patrick Manning, has taught at the National University of Singapore, the University of Macao.
