Current electronic computing technology is one of the most important factors in the progress of science and technology. The use of electronic computers is becoming more and more widespread. In many areas of human mental work, computers give tremendous help to people and greatly expand one's ability. However, electronic computers may work and be useful only if they have a program that implements some kind of algorithm.
