绿肥田做秧田,是不是造成烂秧的主要原因,这个问题曾经引起农业科学界的争论,一直未得圆满解决。在大跃进的1958年中,江西省东乡县农民,用实践回答了这个问题。绿肥田作秧田育秧,烂与不烂的关键,在于能否掌握翻耕时机。根据检查,全县秧田总面积40%以上的绿肥秧田,不但没有烂秧,而且秧苗生长茁壮,总结他们经验如下。
