炭黑是橡胶工业中最常用的补强填充剂。炭黑的等级因其表面积和结构而各具特征。炭黑的选用基于机械性能要求、流变性能考虑和弹性体的选择。例如,炭黑的表面积越大,其补强性更高。这符合炭黑与聚合物之间的相互作用主要是物理性质的相互作用这一事实。而这种相互作用被认为是范德瓦耳斯力所造成的。炭黑结构对未硫化胶料的流变性能和硫化胶的拉伸性能也有影响。
Carbon black is the most commonly used reinforcing filler in the rubber industry. The grade of carbon black is characterized by its surface area and structure. The choice of carbon black based on the mechanical properties, rheological properties and elastomer selection. For example, the greater the surface area of carbon black, the more reinforcing it is. This is in line with the fact that the interaction between the carbon black and the polymer is mainly a matter of physical properties. This interaction is thought to have been caused by van der Waals forces. The carbon black structure also has an influence on the rheological properties of unvulcanized compounds and the tensile properties of vulcanizates.
