“家”对中国人有着特殊的意义,从家庭到家族、到国家、到家天下,中国人以“家”为纽带,安身立命,世代传承。家宴是中国人从古至今推崇的首要待客形式,在中国的人文传统里,家宴被赋予了身份、礼制、情感等等多重内涵,尤其是在钟鸣鼎食之家,家宴更富有仪式感。在名著《红楼梦》中,数十场家宴是其中的一条主线,文采风流,情爱悲喜,都在家宴的餐桌上上演;在西方,家宴被视为重要的社交平台,相互邀请对方抵达私人居所,酣畅淋漓间容易显现这种非正式社交私人家宴的轻松与贴心。
