我县推广免耕麦的栽培技术,是在总结六十年代初套种麦的经验教训基础上,通过较长时期试验、实践而逐步发展起来的。1979～83年,我们先后在嘉西、唐行、黄渡等乡试验,全县29组对比试验,免耕麦增产11.7％。84～85年,县科委作为攻关课题,各乡有20多个示范推广点,设置了品种比较,播种方法、方式,施肥、除草等配套试验,免耕麦技术逐步完善,85年共推广9000多亩,86年全县推广面积8万余亩,约占稻板麦总面积的45％左右。
