中国科学院微生物研究所病毒研究室309组通过卫星核糖核酸(RNA)的互补脱氧核糖核酸(cDNA)转化到烟草细胞核基因组中去的方法,获得抗 CMV 的基因工程烟草。CMV 能感染属于85科365属775种植物,其中包括重要的烟草、蔬菜、瓜类、油料、药材、花卉和其它经济作物,减产50%左右,还严重降低产品质量,素有植物“癌症”之称。由于在烟草和大多数植物上未发现抗 CMV 基因,且该病毒介体——蚜虫又属非持久性传染,难以进行常规抗病育种和治虫防病,长期无有效防治方法。
Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Microbiology, Laboratory of Virology 309 Group of transgenic tobacco plants resistant to CMV was obtained by transforming complementary DNA from satellite RNA into tobacco nuclear genome. CMV can infect 775 species belonging to 365 genera and 85 families, including important tobacco, vegetables, melons, oilseeds, herbs, flowers and other cash crops, with a yield reduction of about 50% and a serious reduction in product quality. The plant is known as “cancer” Said. Since no anti-CMV gene was found in tobacco and most plants, and the virus mediator-aphid was also a non-persistent infection, it was difficult to conduct conventional disease-resistant breeding and pest control and disease prevention methods.
