As one of the oldest traditions celebrated throughout the world, there are many ways to celebrate the new year, but most cultures have something in common with New Year celebrations - just a year after a long, hard work . For many in the world, celebrating the new year means “friendship forever” with friends, night after night, drinking champagne and humming before the campfire until the New Year’s sun rises. However, some cultures have more exotic customs, which are usually related to superstition. In Finland, people pour molten lead into cold water and predict the fate of the new year through the shape of lead formed in the water. If the shape of a lead group resembles a boat, this means that the new year is about to travel, and if it is a ball, it indicates good luck.
