应用氧化还原反应所生接触电流(内电流)的作用来鑑定矿物,是矿物鑑定方法的一个新尝試。我們曾对錫石、孔雀石、蓝銅矿、白鉛矿和白鎢矿等几种矿物作了試驗,效果甚好,方法也很簡便。現在介紹如下。在盐酸溶液里放一鋅板(見图),再放一顆錫石,用导綫将它們連接起來,就組成了一个原电池。我們知道,由于氧化还原电位高低的差别,这时鋅板成了阴极,而錫石顆粒所接触的銅絲(导綫)就成了阳极。
The application of the contact current (internal current) generated by the redox reaction to identify minerals is a new attempt of mineral identification methods. We have tested several minerals such as cassiterite, malachite, azurite, white lead and scheelite for good results and a simple method. Now introduced as follows. In the hydrochloric acid solution put a zinc plate (see photo), then put a cassiterite, with wires to connect them to form a primary battery. We know that due to the redox potential differences, when the zinc plate became the cathode, and cassiterite particles in contact with the copper wire (wire) became the anode.
