法国正在建议美国和欧洲对其SA90防空导弹系统进行合作研制。该系统安排于90年代在法国服役,供海基和陆基防空,用来对付飞机和导弹的威胁,进一步还可以发展成为一种反战术弹道导弹的系统。 目前SA90的研制费用是3亿美元,由法国国防部提供。承包这一项目主要的两家公司是汤姆逊公司和国营航空空间公司。 法国打算在1994～1995年开始用SA90装备海军舰只,再往后的几年里就部署一个机动的地面部队用的型号。
France is proposing that the United States and Europe cooperate in developing their SA90 air defense missile system. The system, which was scheduled to serve in France in the 90s for sea-based and land-based air defense, was used to deal with the threat of aircraft and missiles and could further develop into an anti-tactical ballistic missile system. Currently SA90 development costs 300 million US dollars, provided by the French Ministry of Defense. The two major contractors for the project are Thomson and state-owned aerospace companies. France plans to start using the SA90 to equip naval vessels from 1994 to 1995, and in the next few years deploy a mobile ground force model.
