评选劳动模范,是中国特色社会主义的重要组成部分。查找相关历史文献,除前苏联有过评选劳模的历史外,现在,应该只有中国以每五年为一个劳模年的形式在评选各级劳模。但我们并不能因为劳模现象在中国仅存,就认为中国“劳模”不具有世界意义。“劳模”最简单的定义解释,就是在社会劳动中表现最优秀的那些人,这个解释也是中国劳模评比具有一般世界意义的本质原因。因为对优秀的劳动者,世界各国只有奖励形式的不同,并没有评价标准上的本质差
The selection of model workers is an important part of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
