在当代著名花鸟画家集群中,年近八旬的萧朗教授自然属于老前辈了。萧老10岁时拜王雪涛为师,40年代随先生在北京卖画、教画,而后转益多师,广收博采,寂寞耕耘,精勤奋进,直到今日赴北京在中国美术馆举办画展,在画坛整整磨砺了60度春秋,萧朗继承和发展了王雪涛的花鸟画艺术,王雪涛生前给予充分肯定。王雪涛门人众多,但真正认可者为数寥寥。唯有对萧朗情有独钟,不吝赞许。1981年
