隔河岩水利枢纽位于清江中游,长阳县城上游9公里,地处南北向峡谷尾端,下距河口62公里,其地理位置见图1.是清江干流梯级开发中最下游第二个梯级,控制流域面积14400平方公里,占全流域面积的85％,平均年径流量123亿立米,多年平均流量390秒立米,是一座库容大、调节性能高,综合利用条件好的大型水利水电工程。1964年12月,长办编制的清江流域规划报告推荐该枢纽为
