在现代远程开放教育条件下,立足成人特点和电大教学实际,在英语教学中开展合作学习,对增强学生的学习兴趣和学习积极性,提高英语教学效果,有着重大意义。本文阐述了合作学习的要义及其理论基础,从电大英语教学中学生学习形式现状入题,分析了电视大学英语教学中开展合作学习的必要性和可行性,揭示了英语教学本质和特点与合作学习的内在联系,提出了开展多种形式的合作学习,从而推进电视大学的英语教学改革。
