Feodorov believes that philosophy is not merely a reflection, but rather a “solution” and a “cause” of pursuing the ideal. The worst evil that undermines the ideal of human happiness is death. In the event that death is still a fact of necessity, mankind has a moral responsibility to revive his ancestry. Therefore, in the view of Feodorov, history is not an abstract theory or study, but a “common cause” of the resurrected ancestors that everyone should participate in. The museum also has a special meaning here, not only of artistic value and commemoration, but also of practical means necessary for the great cause of general resurrection. This doctrine is not a worthless utopia, but a philosophical meaning of idealistic thinking.
