Studies have shown that human colorectal cancer has increased levels of cox-2 mRNA and cox-2 protein. The aim of this experiment was to study the phenotypic and biochemical changes of rat intestinal epithelial cells induced by the expression of cox-2. In this experiment, experiments were performed using RIE-P and intestinal epithelial cells (RIE-S and RIE-AS) transfected with a cox-2 expression vector containing sense or antisense DNA.
