油菜是我县的主要油料作物。近年来我县的油菜生产虽然有所发展,但是,存在着栽培面积偏小、单产偏低等问题。1984年我县春油收获面积2.44万亩,总产菜籽116.8万斤,单产仅48斤。面积小、单产低的主要原因:一是一些干部和农户认为油菜会与水稻争肥、争季节影响水稻增产,因而稻田种油菜不多;二是科学种油菜的水平不高;三是缺乏合理轮作制度。为发展我县油菜生产,应抓好以下几项关键措施。
