《北京晚报》1958年创刊时便开设了“一分钟小说”的栏目,也就是在这年,茅盾先生发表了《一鸣惊人的小小说》一文,为刚在文坛上露出萌芽的小小说呐喊助威。可惜由于历史的原因,小小说在后来几年里并未形成气候。小小说是随着改革开放新时期的到来而发展繁荣起来的。1982年全国所发小小说约两千篇,到1989年总量已愈万篇,而经常刊登小小说的报刊已达400多家。在现今出版的关于小小说的理论书中认为,《北京晚报》的“一分钟小
