近年来的研究发现,在胚胎和成年的中枢神经系统及外周神经系统中都存在神经干/祖细胞(NSCs/NPCs)。这类神经干细胞具有多向分化的潜能,并表现出相应的形态和电生理特征。神经干细胞的研究使人们对神经系统的发育、神经元的再生及神经干细胞在神经系统疾病或损伤的修复中所起的作用等方面有了新的认识。
Recent studies have found that neural stem / progenitor cells (NSCs / NPCs) are present in both embryonic and adult CNS and peripheral nervous systems. These neural stem cells have the potential of multi-directional differentiation, and show the corresponding morphological and electrophysiological characteristics. Research on neural stem cells has brought people new understanding of the development of the nervous system, the regeneration of neurons and the role of neural stem cells in the repair of diseases and injuries of nervous system.
