正值欢庆本世纪最后一个国际“三八”妇女节的时刻,回顾党和政府长期以来为我国妇女事业的发展作出的巨大努力,具有积极的现实意义。建国近50年来,我国妇女在中国共产党的领导下积极投身社会主义建设,为国家和民族的富强兴盛作出了不懈的努力。国家通过立法对职业妇女提供了各种保障,为她们参与政治、经济、科技、教育等领域的建设创造了条件,也为我国妇女事业的发展奠定了坚实的基础。
At the moment of celebrating the last International “March-August” Women’s Day this century, it is of positive realistic significance to review the tremendous efforts made by the party and government over the long-term development of the women’s cause in our country. In the past 50 years since the founding of our nation, our women have actively participated in the building of socialism under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and made unremitting efforts for the prosperity of our country and our nation. Through legislation, the state has provided various guarantees to working women and created the conditions for their participation in the political, economic, scientific and technological, education and other fields and laid a solid foundation for the development of the women’s cause in our country.
