通州曾是解放后推动北京城市发展的重要工业区,其工业资源数量大,具有多方面的价值。但随着通州新城建设步伐的加快,大量工业企业需要搬迁调整。只有对这些工业资源进行详细的调研,根据其所具有的价值大小进行分级,进而采取不同的适宜性保护和再利用;才能既保护工业遗产所具有的价值,又促进城市发展,走可持续更新发展的道路。
Tongzhou was once an important industrial zone for promoting the urban development of Beijing after its liberation. It has a great number of industrial resources and many values.
