书籍设计教学属理论与实践相结合的课程,我认为需从实践 中加强整体书籍设计的专业能力、从理论上梳理书籍设计教学思 路,为探求新世纪书籍设计教学的发展打好扎实的基础。 书籍设计教学基本分为本科教学与研究生教学两个层次。本 科教学涉及书籍设计有两段课程:插图设计、书籍设计,以设计 实践为主。研究生课程则将理论和实践划分为五五比例,目的就 是为了强化学生相对比较薄弱的理论环节,用理论来指导并提升 设计实践。 以下几点是我在书籍设计教学中对教学建设的浅识。
The teaching of book design is a combination of theory and practice. I think it is necessary to strengthen the professional ability of the whole book design from practice, sort out the teaching thought of book design theoretically, and lay a solid foundation for the development of book design teaching in the new century. Book design teaching is divided into undergraduate teaching and graduate teaching at two levels. Undergraduate teaching involves two stages of book design: illustration design, book design, design and practice. The graduate course divides the theory and practice into five or five percentages. The purpose is to strengthen the students’ relatively weak theoretical links and to guide and improve the design practice with the theory. The following points are my understanding of teaching construction in the book design teaching.
