《相约夕阳红》是中央电视台《夕阳红》栏目的周六版,以谈话节目为形式,它“说家长里短,道人间冷暖”,旨在增进老年人与家庭及社会的交流和沟通。《相约夕阳红》1999年元月开播,至今已满110期。《卜婆婆》是2001年3月17日播出的第104期节目,播出后群众对卜婆婆这个人产生了极大的兴趣。记得当时我在一份报纸的角落里看到这样一则社会新闻:“12月3曰是中国第一高龄厂长卜顺娣老太91寿辰,老人捧着上个月刚拿到的′常州市国际老年人年之星′荣誉称号证书,脸上露出孩子般的笑容:这是我最好的生日纪念……”
