粘土空心砖、平板瓦是国家重点发展的新型墙体屋面材料,国内外目前较为先进的成型方法为双级真空挤出成型.真空挤出成型虽然能改善泥料的成型性能和干燥性能,提高半成品、成品的密度和力学强度,但因其耗能高(单挤出部分最少达13OkW)、投资大(仅挤出部分需资金20余万元)、机体重(仅挤出部分自重就达10t以上),使双级真空机的普及推广受到限制,也制约着国家墙改进程.本文以此为出发点,讨论了非真空成型平板瓦、空心砖的可行性.
