结合实际的统一潮流控制器工程,该文分析了统一潮流控制器接入对距离保护的具体影响,并提出了一种新型距离保护方案。该距离保护方案由基于输电线路微分方程模型的距离保护I段和传统距离保护II段、III段组成。新型距离保护I段利用本侧电压、电流信号计算故障点到保护安装处的距离,并根据故障距离计算结果及其波动程度准确地识别区内外故障。新型距离保护I段可完全替代传统距离保护I段,并与传统距离保护II段、III段实现合理、有效的配合,从而确保保护动作行为的正确性。仿真研究表明,新型距离保护方案具有优秀的性能,且不受UPFC多变的运行模式和控制参数的影响,可以满足电网安全运行的要求。“,”Based on the practical unified power flow controller (UPFC) project, the influence of UPFC on the distance protection was analyzed. Moreover, a novel distance protection scheme which consists of novel distance protection zone 1, as well as conventional distance protection zone 2 and zone 3 was proposed. The proposed novel distance protection zone 1 was based on the differential equation model of the transmission line. With the local voltage and current signals, it could obtain the distance from the fault point to the relay location, and effectively distinguish between the internal fault and external fault. The proposed distance protection zone 1 could completely replace the conventional distance protection zone 1, and realize effective cooperation with the conventional distance protection zone 2 and zone 3. Consequently, the correct action of the novel distance protection scheme could be guaranteed. The simulation study verifies that the excellent performance of the proposed distance protection scheme would not be affected by the operational mode and control parameters of UPFC, and can satisfy the safe operation requirements of the power systems.
