为满足青少年车手的参赛要求,为卡丁车运动的普及做好宣传发动工作,培养赛车后备人才,经国家体育总局和全国少工委批准,全国青少年卡丁车运动委员会和中国汽车运动联合会将于8至10月间举办全国少锦赛。少锦赛竞赛等级为国际A级少年组,设唐山、杭州、东莞三站比赛。唐山站定于8月1-2日,在唐山国际卡丁赛车俱乐部举办;杭州站定于8月19-20日,在杭州卡丁赛车运动俱乐部举办;东莞站定于10月4-5日在东莞宏图赛车场有限公司举办。参赛车手年龄为10-16岁,分A组(10-13岁)和B组
