武陟县是河南省商品粮生产基地,粮食生产高产县。现有耕地面积74.5万亩,土地平整,灌溉条件便利,机械化程度高,各类农作物特别是粮食作物产量持续稳定增长。但连年的粮食高产也使作物从土壤中带走大量的营养元素,加上不合理的施肥导致土壤中各种营养元素不能得到及时全面补充,土壤养分入不敷出,肥力状况日趋下降。随着农业部测土配方施肥项目的实施,全县测土配方施肥面积逐年增加,从2008年实施的6万亩,
