一、为什么要学习列方程解应用题应用题的教学历来是小学数学教学的重点和难点。但用列方程解应用题,在小学却只是近几年来的事。小学高年级学生已经会用算术方法解多种应用题,为什么还要学习列方程解应用题呢?应用题的算术解法和方程解法之间又有什么不同呢?为了说明这些问题,我们先来看一道例题。例1 两个水槽,第一槽贮水78桶,第二槽贮水31桶。当第一槽放出的水是第二槽放出的水的两倍时,则第一槽所剩的水是第二槽所剩水的3倍。问两个水槽各放出多少桶水?此题若用算术方法解答,急切之下不好动手,还要结合图形进行分析、设想:
