各有关企业:根据《国务院关于进一步整顿和规范期货市场的通知》(国发[1998]27号)精神,为防范风险,保证期货市场试点工作的顺利进行,国家将严格控制境外期货交易。对确需利用境外期货市场进行套期保值的少数企业,经由中国证监会会同国家经贸委进行严格审核,报国务院批准后,方可从事境外期货业务。现就有关问题通知如下:
Relevant Enterprises: In accordance with the spirit of “Notice of the State Council on Further Rectifying and Regulating the Futures Market” (Guo Fa [1998] No. 27), in order to prevent risks and ensure the pilot work of the futures market proceeding smoothly, the state will strictly control the overseas futures trading. For a small number of enterprises that need to hedge the offshore futures market through strict examination by China Securities Regulatory Commission in conjunction with the State Economic and Trade Commission and approval from the State Council, they can engage in overseas futures business. We hereby notify you of the relevant issues as follows:
