评定营养状况对个人或者是人群都是很重要的.体格测量只是其中一个方法,它简单、便宜.但怎样评定却是非常关键。在一个存在着大量营养不良的人群,是很难制定自己的标准,所以WHO就向第三世界推荐用美国人的标准(NCHS)。原来这些数据远在1929年取得,连西欧国家早已觉得它过时了,可是还有很多人因利乘便.采用NCHS标准.本文就是用其他方法,包括热量、蛋白质摄入量、血液生化测定、患病状况来检查WHO建议的评定方法可能出现的错误.
Assessment of nutritional status is important for both individuals and the population, and physical measurement is just one of these methods, which is simple and inexpensive, but how to rate it is crucial. In a population with a large number of malnutrition, it is difficult to set its own standards, so WHO recommended to the Third World the American Standard (NCHS). Originally, these data were obtained in 1929. Even the Western European countries have long felt that it is out of date, but there are still many people who use the NCHS standard because of their advantages and disadvantages. This article uses other methods, including calorie intake, protein intake, blood biochemistry, Disease conditions to check for possible errors in the WHO recommended assessment method.
