上海淮剧团成立于1953年,是上海戏曲艺术中心旗下的国有文艺团体,以创作、演出、传承、推广淮剧为己任。毛泽东、刘少奇、周恩来、朱德、江泽民、胡锦涛、吴邦国等中央领导同志都先后观看过上海淮剧团的演出。多年来,剧团创作改编演出剧目三百多出,其中较有影响的剧目有《蓝桥会》《女审》《三女抢板》《水漫泗洲》《探寒窑》《官禁民灯》《白蛇传》《哑女告状》《吴汉三杀》《海港的早晨》《母与子》《八女投江》《金龙与蜉蝣》《马陵道》《西楚霸王》《大路朝
Founded in 1953, Shanghai Huai Opera Troupe is a state-owned literary and art group under the Shanghai Opera Arts Center. It is the responsibility of Huai Opera to create, perform, inherit and promote Huai Opera. Central leaders like Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and Wu Bangguo watched the performance of the Shanghai Huai Troupe successively. Over the years, the troupe has composed and rehearsed more than 300 performances and rehearsals.
