笔者近期参加了由教育部和国家外专局组织的为期40天的高校领导赴美国培训,其间先后在芝加哥、华盛顿、纽约等5个城市的12所大学进行学习和考察,访问了伊利诺伊州高等教育委员会、北美高校评估机构和4家科研、管理机构,观摩了芝加哥大学新任校长的就职仪式,听取了50多场专题性讲座并进行了讨论,参加了10余次交流座谈会。美国是世界上高等教育最发达的国家之一,美国高等教育的先进的办学经验,对于办好我国民族院校,有很好的启示作用。
Recently, I participated in the training of 40-day university leaders in the United States organized by the Ministry of Education and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. During the study and study, I visited 12 universities in five cities of Chicago, Washington, and New York successively to visit higher education institutions in Illinois Board of Education, evaluation institutions of North American universities and four research and management institutes. They observed the inauguration ceremony of the new president of the University of Chicago, listened to over 50 seminars and discussions, and participated in more than 10 exchange forums. The United States is one of the most advanced countries in the world in higher education. The advanced experience of running higher education in the United States has a very good enlightenment on running our national institutions of higher learning.
