用一块光学抛光的硼硅酸玻璃片和十二胺醋酸盐 (DAA)水化膜所进行的试验表明 ,如果在很短的时间间隔里重复试验 ,水化膜后退速率增加幅度大 ,而不可能重新达到平衡状态。这是由于DAA分子从消失的液 -气界面上解吸下来而沉积到新形成的固 -气界面上引起的。在改进的哈里蒙德浮选管中用硼硅酸玻璃颗粒所进行的对比浮选试验表明 ,浮选速率也随重复浮选试验次数增加而增加 ,这也是由于过量吸附的DAA分子从接触的气泡上转移到固 -气界面上引起的。
