中国科技史学会地学史专业委员会与中国地质学会地学史专业委员会联合召开的“全国地学史学术讨论会”于去年11月20日上午在桂林市地矿部岩溶研究所徐霞客塑像广场隆重举行开幕式。地矿部部长孙大光、《纪念徐霞容诞辰400周年筹备委员会》委员潘琪、广西壮族自治区党委副书记黄云、中国地质科学院院长李廷栋、以及与会代表和来宾共200多人参加了开幕式和徐霞客塑像落成典礼。
