在少先队建队60周年之际,胡锦涛总书记向全体少先队员发出贺信提出了争当“四好少年”的要求:第六次全国少代会上,团中央第一书记陆昊再次重申了少先队组织的根本任务。作为县一级少先队组织,自2008年起,吴江市少工委就开始了这方面的积极探索——2008年4月3日,吴江市下发了《关于做好“江村娃”学堂建设的通知》,规范组建市校两级的“江村娃”学堂。2009年,他们以全国区(县)少工委试点工作为契机,组建了各镇(区)少工委,启动了镇(区)级江村娃学堂建设,形成了市、乡镇、学校三级“江村娃”学堂的格局。
