一鲁迅的杂文多着眼于中国及中国人。直接的,是直书“中国”、“中国人”如何如何。有的更是作为题目:如《略论中国人的脸》、《无声的中国》、《中国人的生命圈》,等等,而文章中据不完全统计多达三千五百八十五处(含“中国人”461处)。一九三四年五月,鲁迅对杨霁云说:“平生所作事,绝不能如来示之誉,但自问数十年来,于自己保存之外,也时时想到中国,想到将来,愿为大家出一点微力,却可以自白的。”这是诚实的自白,也是鲁迅之所以笔下多谈“中国”、“中国人”的根源。还有一个根本原因,是思维与言说
